Turkey Taco Salad

This turkey taco salad is lite on calories, but it won't last long, so if you want some.... make two.This will surly be a hit with your guests, if you don't have turkey just use chicken.If you would like to substitute black beans instead of kidney beans do so, Kraft Tex-Mex cheese mixture is very good too.


  • 6 Cups cooked turkey sliced thinly

  • 1 Pkg. Taco seasoning mix

  • 2 Head lettuce, torn into pieces

  • 4 Medium tomatoes diced

  • 2 Can (15 oz ) kidney beans, rinsed and drained

  • 1 Cup non fat cheddar cheese, grated

  • 1 Bottle Salsa

  • 1 Pkg Baked Tortilla chips, crumbled

  • 1 low fat Catalina or Thousand Island dressing


    In skillet, add turkey and taco mix, follow package instructions, simmer until water evaporates.Let turkey cool. In a serving bowl combine the lettuce, tomatoes, kidney beans, grated cheese and crumbled tortilla chips.

    Add the salad dressing and turkey and mix well. Serve with salsa on the side. Serves: 8-10
