Lemon Chicken

This Lemon Chicken is so easy to make with its secret ingredient...Lemon Jell-o powder, it is sweet, but yet tangy, serve over rice or noodles, your family or guests will be asking for more.You could have a Chinese potluck party and ask your guests to make their favourite Chinese dish.


  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 lbs boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 bags (500 ml) each of frozen Chinese style vegetables
  • 2 pkg (85ml) each Jell-o Lemon jelly powder
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 4 tbsp Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice


    Heat oil in large skillet on medium heat. Add chicken, cook 6 minutes or until cooked through, stirring occasionally. Add frozen vegetables cook for another 10 minutes.

    Mix dry jelly powder and cornstarch in bowl. Add broth, dressing, garlic and lemon juice.

    Stir until jelly powder is dissolved. Add to skillet. Reduce heat to medium, cook 5 more minutes or until sauce is thickened. Stirring frequently.

    Serve over hot cooked rice or noodles.
