Apple Sauce can be serve with any meat dish, on pancakes for breakfast or dessert, your imagination is the only limit to the way you can serve it.
When I am peeling apples for my apple sauce, I always make extra for baking my Apple Bars, Apple Bread and Applesauce Nut Bread for freezing to use at a later date. I will also plan on having Apple Fritter or Apple Crisp for dessert that day.
When using any given fruit, vegetable or meat make a menu and try to add them to other dishes for that same week, whether as leftovers or add ins to your recipe.
