Wild Rice Turkey Stew

Fall weather get-togethers.....with this easy wild rice turkey stew always steals the show.

Hearty comforting, easy and homemade, with aromatic flavourings and simmer slowly in chicken broth, so it turns out fork tender and delicious.

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup wild rice

  • 3 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast cubed

  • 1 medium onion chopped

  • 2 cups chicken broth

  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour

  • 3 cloves garlic minced

  • 2 tsp dried Italian seasoning blend

  • ½ tsp pepper

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

    Preparation:

    Combine rice, chicken, onions and celery, in slow cooker.Whisk together broth, flour, garlic, seasoning and pepper, add to cooker and cover and cook on low for 5-8 hours.

    Make 6-8 servings
