Coconut Banana Pecan Bread

Need a dessert then slice a piece, put on your plate and add a scoop of ice cream, sprinkle top with coconut and chocolate sauce, enjoy. Ingredients: 1/4 cup shortening 2/3 cup sugar ½ tsp salt 2 eggs 1 cup mashed ripe bananas 1 3/4 cups flour 2 tbsp baking powder ½ cup flaked coconut 1 cup broken pecans ½ tsp soda Preparation: Cream shortening and sugar, add eggs. 1 at a time. Beat well, add mashed bananas and soda mix. Add flour and baking powder. Stir until smooth. Add coconut and nuts.Bake in well greased 8x4x21/2 loaf pan in a 350 degree oven for 40 minutes.
