Banana French Toast....

Delicious and Healthy

When it comes to your health, banana french toast is packed with a lot of benefits. They might help prevent conditions ranging from heart attacks and strokes to high blood pressure and infection.

They act as a natural antacid and even help heal ulcers. bananas are available all year.

If you buy bananas green then place them in a paper bag, the bag traps ethylene gas (produce naturally by the bananas)and quicken ripening.

Add an apple to the bag, and the process is even faster. Store at room temperature, can be refrigerated, but will turn black, they will still be fine to eat. This recipe is so healthy with cinnamon and whole wheat bread or if you would like to try a raisin bread that would be tasty too.

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 Bananas
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon
  • 10 Slices Whole Wheat Bread

    Mash bananas or put in blender with eggs and cinnamon, dip bread in mixture and cook in skillet.Serve with Maple syrup, applesauce or yogurt.
